Bio:
Travis Thielmann is a High School Educator in Sciences and Math at Fraser Academy, a K-12 school in Vancouver, BC. He also works with the school’s Educational Technology Team to help staff effectively implement technology into their practice. He is passionate about improving learning for students, both through technology, and critical, creative, and collaborative thinking strategies, which is the focus of his studies in the Master’s of Education program at Simon Fraser University.
When he isn't working, Travis spends time with his wife, friends, and volunteering at his church. Travis and his wife have one child, a daughter. He also loves to read novels, hike, camp, watch movies and play board games.
